Thousands of immigrants move to Canada every year through various immigration programs, including sponsorship from close relatives, family members, partners, and even employers. It is not easy to find a sponsor in Canada, as few people will sponsor you.

Canada understands the importance of family, which is why they have created the Family Sponsorship program. Through this program, Canadian citizens and permanent residents whose families live outside of Canada can bring their relatives and family members to Canada.

Who is Eligible to be a Sponsor?

Only a handful of people in Canada may sponsor you to Canada. These include close relatives of family members who are Canadian citizens and permanent residents, a spouse or your spouse who is a permanent resident or citizen, and an employer in Canada who wishes to hire an international professional who is in the Express Entry pool. However, the employer must first ensure that no Canadian citizen or permanent resident can fill the vacancy

You may not have known, but there are many Canadian employers out there even in your country who are currently recruiting foreign workers. You just have to look in the right place.
